研究了热扩散处理工艺对电镀硬铬层耐磨性的影响。结果表明,在不同的摩擦系统下,热扩散处理对电镀硬铬层的耐磨性的影响规律不同。在油润滑条件下,耐磨性对网状裂纹的特性相当敏感。具有网状裂纹的电镀硬铬层更适合于在油润滑条件下应用。电镀硬铬层在较高温度下服役时,其硬度和耐磨性下降。对柴油机排气阀阀杆而言,应关心电镀硬铬层的硬度和耐磨性于服役过程中的变化。
The effects of thermal diffusion process on wear resistance of hard chrome plating were studied. The results show that under different tribological systems, the effect of thermal diffusion on the wear resistance of hard chrome plating is different. In oil-lubricated conditions, wear resistance is quite sensitive to the nature of the mesh crack. Electro-plated hard chrome layer with net-shaped cracks is more suitable for applications under oil-lubricated conditions. Hard chromium plating layer at service at higher temperatures, its hardness and wear resistance decreased. For diesel exhaust valve stems, the hardness and wear resistance of hard chrome plating should be concerned during service.
