看电影、电视作为一种文化娱乐是现代人必不可少的。各影视公司为提高其影片的卖座率、收视率,投入庞大的资金,把各种先进的科学技术应用到了电影、电视片的制作中去。当前,随着计算机技术的高速发展,计算机图形、图象制作软件层出不穷,其强大的功能被卓有远见的影视制作者们所看中,他们把影视制作与计算机图形制作系统结合起来,从二维卡通制作逐渐发展到三维人物变形等特技的制作。例如,大家所熟悉的卡通片《米老鼠与唐老鸭》,其后期的制作就是采用了计算机二维图形软件。再如,美国科幻影片《终结者续集》中的人物变形场面,逼真程度令人叹为观止,其特技处理就是由计算机三维动画软件在图形工作站上来完成的。
