那一定是灵光一现的时刻。一天,一位苏联科学家在他的实验室里来回踱步,脑子里思考着消化分泌系统的问题。无意间,他观察到身穿实验室外衣的助理正倾下身子逗着一只小狗。小狗的嘴里流出口水,这一常见现象打断了这位科学家的思路。助理逗小狗,小狗淌口水(这种无意识的流口水证实小狗正在想着食物),然而它的眼前并没有食物。啊哈!这个助理经常穿着实验室的外衣喂小狗,所以小狗一看到他的这件外衣就知道它的食物快来了。
It must be a moment of truth. One day, a Soviet scientist pacing back and forth in his laboratory thought about the digestive system. Inadvertently, he observed an assistant wearing a lab coat leaning forward and teasing a puppy. Puppy’s mouth drooling, a common phenomenon interrupted the scientist’s train of thought. The assistant teased a puppy, a puppy drooling (this unconscious drool confirms the puppy is thinking about food), but it does not have food in front of him. Aha! The assistant often feeds the puppy in a lab coat, so when the puppy sees his coat, he knows it’s coming fast.
