1,5-戊二醛(通称Glutaraldehyde)为一种高效灭菌剂,其碱性溶液具有强烈的杀菌作用,对人体组织刺激性比甲醛低,但杀菌效能比甲醛强2~10倍。将欲消毒物品完全浸没在2%溶液中,一般15~20分钟即可达到完全消毒。目前除用于内窥镜器械、温室计、橡胶和塑料部件及不能用加热来消毒的设备外,还用于人工生物心脏瓣膜的消毒、固定及保存,具有很多优点,深受手术科室的欢迎。本文仅就戊二醛的理化性状、杀菌机理、杀菌作用和临床应用及其毒副反应等综述如下。
