彩电的辐射——X射线要比黑白电视机强得多,它对空气和其它物体有电离作用,对于人体器官组织细胞也有电离伤害作用。彩电产生的 X 射线,是由于机内高压电场加速后的电子束直接轰击金属面释放出能量而形成的,为了保障人体健康,彩电出厂前已经过检查测量,并规定它的最高辐射值应小于每小时0.5伦琴。人离电视机1米以内时,X 射线的吸入量是离开2米时的10倍。因此,看彩电时,人与机的距离应在2米以外,以保证安全。
