音乐美学是大美学的一个分支学科,研究音乐美的本质、音乐为什么美等问题,其中也涉及到音乐与人类感官和理智之间的互动关系。视唱练耳是学习音乐过程中的一个基础性学科,理论性与技术性兼具是其学科特点,在视唱练耳训练的过程中还不可避免的涉及到音乐的审美,应该说音乐美学与视唱练耳具有千丝万缕的联系。一般来说,传统的视唱练耳教学更加注重对音高、节奏、音程、和弦、旋律等内容的听记训练,以及中国民族调式、西洋大小调体系中各种调式的视唱训练。由于视唱练耳的教学内容是十分具体的,因此在日常的教学中往往只注重读谱、听记等具体内容的训练,而忽视了视唱练耳的教学内容中所蕴含音乐审美能力的培养,使其成为一种较为枯燥无味的,只有音响而缺乏音乐感的,技术性较强艺术性较弱的音乐基础课。
