WHO执委会第10l届会议讨论了名为“21世纪人人享有卫生保健”的全球新卫生政策,执委会建议不久将召开的第51届世界卫生大会,通过以新政策为基础的“世界卫生宣言”。 新的卫生政策将把改善人民健康和福利视作社会和经济发展的最终目标。它突出平等、团结和社会公正的伦理概念。同时要求全体人民和所有机构认同21世纪人人享有卫生保健的思想,并为其实现而共同努力。本届会议还审议了提交第51届世界卫生大会讨论通过的若干决议,其中有:
The 101st session of the WHO Executive Board discussed the global new health policy called “Health Care for All in the 21st Century”. The Executive Committee recommended that the 51st World Health Assembly, which will be held shortly, adopt the new policy as a basis. World Health Declaration. The new health policy will regard improving people’s health and welfare as the ultimate goal of social and economic development. It highlights the ethical concepts of equality, solidarity and social justice. At the same time, all people and all organizations are required to recognize the idea of health care for all in the 21st century and work together for their realization. The current session also considered a number of resolutions submitted to the 51st World Health Assembly for discussion. These include:
