随着经济和社会的发展,人民群众对城镇化的需求不断提高,特别是要求加强基础服务设施建设,改善居住环境。加快推进城镇化是党的十八大作出的重要战略部署,是我国现代化建设的重大历史任务。2014年初,中共中央、国务院印发了《国家新型城镇化规划(2014-2020年)》,明确指出新型城镇化要坚持以人为本,公平共享。推进城镇化,核心是人的城镇化,关键是提高城镇化质量,目的是造福百姓和富裕农民。
With economic and social development, people’s demand for urbanization has been constantly increasing. In particular, it calls for strengthening the construction of basic service facilities and improving the living environment. Accelerating urbanization is an important strategic plan made by the 18th CPC National Congress and a major historic task for our country’s modernization drive. In early 2014, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council printed the “National New Urbanization Plan (2014-2020)”, clearly stating that new urbanization should adhere to people-oriented and fair sharing. The key to promoting urbanization lies in the urbanization of people. The key is to improve the quality of urbanization with the purpose of bringing benefits to the people and affluent peasants.
