中国人民解放军驻港部队是我人民解放军的军中骄子,他们在香港回归后担负起保卫香港这一光荣而神圣的使命。作为主权的象征,他们见证了香港回归的伟大历史时刻,和香港人民一道共同走过了回归祖国后十年的发展历程。十年风雨,十年辉煌。中国人民解放军驻港部队出色地完成了祖国交予的使命,保卫了香港经济的繁荣发展和香港人民的安居乐业,他们处处以香港市民的方便考虑,积极融入到香港社会生活中,他们以自己的魅力和风采折服了香港同胞,成为驻守在东方之珠之上的一道最亮丽的风景!值此建军八十周年之际,谨以此文献给我优秀的驻港部队全体官兵。
The Chinese People’s Liberation Army garrison in Hong Kong is the pride of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. They took on the glorious and sacred mission of defending Hong Kong after the handover of Hong Kong. As a symbol of sovereignty, they have witnessed the great historical moment of the return of Hong Kong and walked together with the people of Hong Kong through the course of development after 10 years of returning to the motherland. Ten years of wind and rain, a decade of glory. The PLA troops stationed in Hong Kong have done a great job in fulfilling the mission entrusted by the motherland and have defended the prosperity and development of Hong Kong economy and the people’s livelihood in Hong Kong. They are actively involved in the social life of Hong Kong with the convenience of the people of Hong Kong. They are using their own Charm and style have convinced our compatriots in Hong Kong to become the most beautiful scenery stationed above the pearl of the East! On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the army, I hereby give my excellent contribution to all outstanding officers and soldiers of the garrison in Hong Kong.
