1995年8月10日至16日,原中顾委常委伍修权偕夫人一行,在锦州视察,我奉命安排视察活动。在锦期间,伍老一行视察参观了锦州港口开发区和辽沈战役纪念馆。在陪同活动中,给我留下深刻印象的是,伍老对锦州的山山水水怀有特殊感情,尤其是对辽沈战役纪念馆的景物更是格外亲切。伍老是日本投降后被中央首批派来东北的六位领导人之一,担任过东北民主联军和东北军区的第二参谋长,他不仅是东北解放战争的直接参加者和一位指挥者,而且是辽沈战役纪念馆的重要筹划者之一。据锦州市委和纪念馆的领导同志介绍,从1986年4月,
