作为研究土壤侵蚀垂直分布的一种新方法，较详细地描述了稀土元素示踪法的原理与操作技术；通过实例说明了诸如示陈元素的选择原则，施放量的计算，施放方法及其注意事项等实际应用中可能遇到的各种问题的解决办法；给出了利用本法研究土壤侵蚀的精度计算公式。室内外试验的结果表明：我们所提出的REE示踪法研究土壤侵蚀操作技术是正确可行的，能够满足研究工作的需要。
As a new method to study the vertical distribution of soil erosion, the principles and operating techniques of rare earth element tracing method are described in detail.
