How to quantitatively assess the impact of vegetation cover and land use on soil erosion and sediment yield in different landscape locations in the basin is one of the hot issues in the field of contemporary soil erosion research and an urgent need to be solved in the research of sustainable agriculture in the serious soil erosion areas in China technical challenge. As a part of the IAEA-funded integrated assessment of soil erosion and sediment yield-sediment evaluation research, its main scientific goal is to determine the loess plateau dam using 137 Cs and 210 Pb technologies
