The early creation of the Australian novelist Eleanor Dudck, which has been focusing on the status and rights of women in the family, shows the awakening and rise of Australian women writers during the two world wars. This article attempts to argue that Eleanor’s concern with the theme of women in the family comes directly and far from the influence of Dowell O’Rourley, the father of the same writer. The literary atmosphere that Willow created in Eleanor’s childhood led her to take the literary course naturally. At the same time, Dowell’s direct or progressive or narrow view on the feminist issue has become the direct point of the spearhead of Eleanor’s early writing .
