近年来,科协坚持以邓小平同志建设有中国特色社会主义理论为指导,深入学习和贯彻党的十四大五中六中全会精神,促进科教兴国,科教兴厂战略的实施,紧密围绕企业生产经营目标,团结和动员全公司广大科技人员为完成年产钢100万吨,实现200万吨规划进行了有效的工作,发挥了积极的作用。在企业走向社会主义市场经济和转换机制过程中,企业改革的步伐在加快,作为涟钢也顺应了改革形势,进行了机构精简,涟钢科协在1993年三项制度改革中,由原来的6人精减为1人,二级机构撤消后挂靠在钢研所。科协在这种情况下,是消极等待,还是积极主动,是停滞不前,还是转变观念,不断改进科
