浮山湾位于胶州湾以东约六公里,是由太平角、燕儿岛及浮山环抱而成的自然海湾,湾口长2.3公里,湾顶进深由0米水深线到10米水深线约1.2公里,总面积约4平方公里。面向外海,东南、东、西南方向的波浪,在湾内先呈折射状态,后呈绕射状态,是研究波浪绕射折射很典型的水域。在模型试验以前,已由计算机作了折射图,模型中得到的资料与计算机给出的资料相符合.
Fushan Bay is located about six kilometers east of Jiaozhou Bay. It is a natural bay surrounded by Taipingshan, Yan Island and Fushan. The mouth of the bay is 2.3 kilometers. The depth of the bay top ranges from 0 meters to the depth of about 10 meters. The total area of about 4 square kilometers.
