琳达·霍根(1947-)是美国本土裔的杰出诗人、小说家和散文家。她出生于科罗拉多州的丹佛市,曾任教于科罗拉多大学,现已退休。霍根已经出版了《呼唤自己归家》(Calling Myself Home, 1978)、《女儿,我爱你》(Daughters, I Love You, 1981)、《透过太阳》(Seeing Through the Sun,1985)、《人的困境》(Rounding the Human Corners,2008)等诗集, 诗集《透过太阳》获得美国国家图书奖,《人的困境》获得普利策奖的提名,《药之书》(The Book of Medicines,1993)曾入围美国图书批评家协会奖和普利策奖。
Linda Hogan (1947-) is a prominent Native American poet, novelist and essayist. Born in Denver, Colorado, she taught at the University of Colorado and is now retired. Hogan has published “Calling Myself Home” (1978), “Daughters, I Love You” (1981), “Seeing Through the Sun” (1985) The book “Rounding the Human Corners” (2008), the collection of poems “Through the Sun” won the National Book Award, the “People’s Dilemma” won the Pulitzer Prize nomination, The Book of Medicine Medicines, 1993) was shortlisted for the American Book Critics Association Award and the Pulitzer Prize.
