The M6800 microprocessor used as an interface has formed an active small ground test station. The test station is used to conduct pre-flight inspection and flight acquisition of data acquisition devices mounted on the aircraft for a preliminary analysis of the acquired flight data. This kind of interface can connect various types of data acquisition devices and small computers. In addition, it selects and buffers data words from frame-structured data streams received by connected dedicated data acquisition devices. Under the control of the interface, the selected data word is taken from the buffer and sent to the minicomputer. Small computers process data words and output curves. The main purpose of the interface is to reduce the load on the small computer CPU. This article addresses the following two issues: - Interface design and improved functional requirements. - Microprocessor program features with continuous data flow handling word rates up to 10KHZ.
