单兵是最基本的军事行动单元。在现代信息化战争条件下,单兵的通信和计算能力对信息的及时发送、接收和共享至关重要,决定着网络中心战延伸的范围和实现的程度。但是受到战场特殊环境、部队机动、士兵负重等方面的限制,单兵通信和计算系统必须小型轻便、操作简便、安全保密、功能强大。美、英、德、法、以色列等世界各主要军事强国都根据各自需求,竞相开发单兵穿戴式电台和计算机。下面对此做一简要介绍。
Manpower is the most basic unit of military operations. Under modern informationalized warfare conditions, the ability of individual soldiers to communicate and compute is crucial to the timely sending, receiving and sharing of information, and determines the scope and extent of the expansion of network-centric warfare. However, due to the special circumstances of the battlefield, the troops maneuvering and the weight of the soldiers, the solitary forces communication and computing systems must be small and light, easy to operate, secure and confidential, and powerful. The major military powers in the world such as the United States, Britain, Germany, France and Israel all vied with each other to develop man-made wearable radio stations and computers according to their respective needs.
