Starting with deepening reformrnPrior to the reform and opening up, the standards management in China adopted the unitary and mandatory standards system against the backdrop of planned economy. Standards were released as technical regulations without clear awareness of copyright protection.rnChina started to establish increasingly closer ties with international standards organizations with ongoing reform and opening up, and actively participated in international standardization activities. It has joined the three international standards organizations successively with its standardization management systems and rules geared to international ones step by step.
