Drowflies, also known as tsetse flies, have the harmful effect of playing a medium role in the transmission of pyramidal parasites. Protozoa can cause livestock to cause Nagarnah, the last to die in lethargy. People infected, began to feel weakness, poor appetite; all day after the drowsy, gradually become skinny; finally died in drowsiness, so called sleepiness disease. Sleepy flies mainly grow in vast areas of sub-Saharan Africa. In that tropical African jungle that is about half as large as China, it is possible to feed more than 120 million head of livestock. Now it is almost desolate and has become the world of hundreds of millions of sleepy flies. Mozambique is one of the centers for sleepy fly breeding. A reporter from Time Magazine in Mozambique recently interviewed Dr. Travos Diaz, a veterinarian working in the country. Here is an excerpt from their conversation.
