随着2012年莫言获得诺贝尔奖而同时成为关注焦点的莫过于莫言作品的英译者葛浩文。本文从葛浩文的“翻译不是背叛,而是救赎”这一宣言式论断出发,从翻译功能论,翻译中的案例分析和实践意义等方面予以浅析,认为与传统的翻译观相比,这样的翻译观更能为广大翻译工作者带来鼓励,从而产生更为丰硕的翻译成果。
