笔者藏有一面东汉时期的古铜镜,包浆乌青黑亮,在碧绿斑锈点缀下显得格外雅致古朴。其圆形、圆钮、圆钮座,镜面微凸,直径9厘米,重118克(如图)。尺寸虽小,但制作精湛,古代工匠采用浮雕技法,在方寸之间创造出迷人的图案,给人以无限遐想。铜镜素缘,饰锯齿纹、旋纹。三叠纹饰象征着天体、光芒和湖泊海洋。整幅画面表现神龙忽隐忽现,出没于天水之间的景象。此铜镜主题似可定为龙凤戏珠,圆钮可视为宝珠。其上装饰明暗双龙双凤各一,明龙神采飞扬,明凤振翅翱翔:暗龙暗凤相会,双首隐匿进了铜镜深处,凤羽翎毛附着龙身延伸舒展,线条优美流畅,画面生气昂然,充满了龙飞的活
