The January 1978 issue of Volume 59, Issue 1, of the 1978 American Geophysical Union reported that the Seismological Research Office of the United States Geological Survey held a conference on “The Global Situation of Earthquake Disaster Relief” at the University of Denver in 1976 Special meeting, the meeting focused on the prediction of the global earthquake. The paper, entitled “Meeting Report: An Ongoing Earthquake Prediction of the World,” is run by William Spence and LCPakiser, both members of the chamber, the former convenor of the conference , The latter for the meeting chairman) co-written. The essay is divided into chapters of “Conference Focus”, “Stress Drops and Earthquakes”, “Seismicity Time-Space Images”, “Fracture Theory and Some Earthquake Precursors” Discussion.
