On January 12, 2001, the People’s Bank of China promulgated the Measures for the Administration of Trust and Investment Companies. On April 28, the 21st Session of the Ninth National People’s Congress passed the Trust Law of the People’s Republic of China, with President Jiang Zemin Issue No. 50 Order of the President, “Trust Law” came into effect on October 1.
