The policy of the United States imperialists in pursuit of world domination has at present encountered enormous obstacles. One of the obstacles is the rapid development of the Japanese revolutionary movement. The May Day protest in 1952 shows how high the level of the Japanese revolutionary movement has reached. Four hundred and one million people had participated in the May Day demonstration held in 400 places across the country. The enemy organized attacks on the demonstrations and, to this end, dispatched a formidable armed police force under the command of U.S. military officers. However, this attempt to smash the demonstrators is apparently lost
