本刊今年第五期对山西省原平市苏龙口镇出现的乱砍滥伐现象进行报道后,得到当地各级领导的高度重视,原平市委、市政府专门发出文件向上级汇报了有关情况,并时有关责任人进行了处理;苏龙口镇召开了以植树造林为主题的现场大会,与各村干部签定了责任状,向干部宣传《森林法》,教育干部群众爱护林木,保护生态,并带领群众采取了补种、补栽措施。前几天,本刊记者再次进行回访时看到,这里已在道旁、田间补种各种树苗一万多株,这些树苗成活率很高,长势较好。
