Four to five years ago, the argument of “crisis of paper media” and “death of paper media” began to appear. The popularization of the development of intelligent terminals and the rapid rise of mobile reading are the proofs of these arguments. Since the second half of last year, the media industry generally felt the pressure of business. In the first half of this year, the death of several media executives even made the industry feel tragic. It seems “paper media is dead”. Indeed, there is such a tendency that the circulation of newspapers and periodicals, the overall decline of advertising revenue and the suspension of publication of publications are not uncommon. It is a fact that difficulties have been encountered in the management of paper products. However, it is a fact that there is a suspicion of entertaining the public by saying that “the media will die” or “the dead”. If we want to talk about the crisis, in fact, China’s media industry generally has a crisis. Even the so-called crisis of the new media is at hand. When we talk about “Paper and Media Predicament ”, are we going to think more deeply and are all paper media dilemmas?
