学习英语培养能力,即通过对学生加强听、说、读、写技能训练,让学生掌握一定的英语语言基础知识——单词、语句和文章,从而获得运用英语这个交际工具的能力,为社会、为人民服务。然而,随着社会的不断发展,人类文明的不断进步,知识的不断更新,社会生活的信息化,经济的全球化,教育的义务化(9年制—12年制)学习的终身化。培养适应社会、适应时代、面向世界、面向未来、面向现代化的有用的人才,就需要培养学生的自主学习能力。即培养学生积极主动地愉快地学习。
