党的十一届三中全会以来,新疆维吾尔自治区与兄弟省、市的经济技术协作有了长足的发展,已先后与二十六个省、市建立起多种协作关系,并开始取得显著的经济效益。据统计,到一九八四年底止,新增产值一亿二千三百万元,新增税利二千二百万元。由于历史,地理等原因,我国东部沿海地区经济比较发达,而西部少数民族地区经济比较落后。东部和西部应该怎样进一步搞好协作,走共同繁荣富裕的道路呢?为此,记者走访了新疆维吾尔自治区党委书记、自治区人民政府主席司马义·艾买提同志。
Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the economic and technological cooperation between Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and fraternal provinces and municipalities has made considerable progress. It has established a variety of cooperative relations with 26 provinces and municipalities and has started to make remarkable Economic benefits. According to statistics, by the end of 1984, a new output value of 123 million yuan and a new tax increase of 22 million yuan. Due to history, geography and other reasons, the economy in the eastern coastal areas of our country is relatively developed while the economy in the western minority areas is relatively backward. As for how the east and west should further improve coordination and take the path of prosperity and affluence together, the reporter visited comrades of the party committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Comrade Ismail Amat, chairman of the Autonomous Region People’s Government.
