朱生豪是中国学派的翻译家,梁实秋则是具有中西学术背景的翻译家,他们不同的文化身份对翻译《仲夏夜之梦》产生了一定影响:朱生豪主要采用归化策略,梁实秋则偏爱异化策略。两种翻译策略都体现了译者跨文化交际的视野,朱译以读者接受为目的,梁译以传播异域文化为目的。
Zhu Shenghao is a translator of the Chinese school. Liang Shih-ch’iu is a translator with Chinese and Western academic backgrounds. Their different cultural identities have a certain influence on the translation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Zhu Sheng-hao basically adopted the naturalization strategy while Liang Shih-chiu preferred the alienation strategy. Both translation strategies embody the translator’s perspective of intercultural communication. Zhu translates the acceptance of readers and aims to spread exotic cultures.
