1991年11月4日～9日,中国科学院第四次期刊工作会议在安徽合肥中国科技大学内召开。来自院内各研究所编辑部门的170多名代表出席了这次会议。安徽省文化厅出版局也派代表出席会议并致贺词。开幕式由院出版图书情报委员会副主任李廷杰主持,院党组副书记、院出版图书情报委员会主任余志华向大会作工作报告,他的工作报告主要讲了三个问题:
From November 4 to November 9, 1991, the 4th Journals Working Conference of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was held in China University of Science and Technology in Hefei, Anhui Province. More than 170 representatives from editorial departments of various institutes attended the meeting. Anhui Provincial Department of Culture Publishing Bureau also sent representatives to attend the meeting and congratulatory message. At the opening ceremony, Li Tingjie, deputy director of Library and Information Commission, presided over the opening ceremony. Yu Zhihua, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and director of the Library Information Publishing Commission of the hospital, gave a report on his work to the General Assembly.
