澳门地处广东濒海、珠江口西岸 ,地理位置优越 ,海上交通发达 ,很早就为西方国家 觎 1517年葡萄牙商船首次到达中国 ,要求通商 ,被明朝政府拒绝。以后葡萄牙利用中国封建政府的腐朽 ,通过贿赂等手段 ,逐渐混入澳门 ,意图强占。鸦片战争后 ,趁清政府被打败的时机 ,葡萄牙拒绝交纳地租 ,1887年 12月 1日诱使清政府签订了《中葡通商条约》 ,骗取了澳门的“永租权”。
Macao is located in the littoral region of Guangdong and the west bank of the Pearl River Estuary. Its strategic location and developed maritime traffic have long been the first time that Western countries and Portuguese merchants reached China in 1517 for business negotiations and were rejected by the Ming government. Afterwards, Portugal used the decay of the Chinese feudal government and gradually mixed it with Macao through bribes and other means to seize power. After the Opium War, taking advantage of the Qing government was defeated, Portugal refused to pay rent. On December 1, 1887, the Qing government was instructed to sign the Treaty of Sino-Portuguese Trade and to cheat Macau’s “permanent tenure.”
