六十年代初的浙江美术学院中国画系正值鼎盛时期。以潘天寿先生为首的十大教授,或人物、或山水、或花鸟、或书法、或篆刻,各自身怀绝技。书画艺苑一时群星灿烂、交相辉映、蔚为大观。陆维钊先生就是当时的十大巨星之一。陆先生学识渊博,于文章、诗词、书法、篆刻、山水、花鸟,甚至音乐、医道皆有精深造诣,而尤以书法著称。先生于书法,则特长篆隶,尤以「蜾扁」闻名海内外——一种文字自然面貌是篆,书法艺术面貌似隶的「扁篆」。先生于甲骨、金文、小篆、隶书、楷书、行书、草书无所不精。字体既能多样,而于每种字体之中又能时时变换出各类的书法风格—或沉雄豪劲、或清丽和婉、或端庄厚重、或倜傥俊拔、或浑穆苍古、或高逸幽雅,一幅有一幅的情趣,令人玩味无穷。所以能达到这种常人不易达到的境界,其原因是:一、
