中央电大制定教学计划中对于非计算机专业的计算机课程设置存在着几个较为明显的不足：非所有的专业都必修“计算机应用基础”；不论哪类专业几乎都学习相同的内容；相当数量的专业没有计算机应用技术方面的后续课程。这会导致我们的学生不能很好地适应信息时代，应该进行调整、更新。根据电大非计算机专业的计算机课程教学所要达到的目标应该将教学内容划分出层次，在教学时间和教学内容的安排上都要体现循序渐进的原则。
There are several obvious deficiencies in the setting of computer courses for non-computer major in the teaching plan formulated by the Central Radio and TV University: all non-major majors must have the basic computer application; no matter what kind of majors almost all study the same content; a considerable number of majors There are no follow-up courses in computer application technology.
