多年来,在我省西部沙区营造了大面积松树纯林,这是固沙造林事业的一个创举。对防风固沙,绿化沙丘起了重要作用。然而由于树种单纯,对病虫害防治、护林防火和维持土壤肥力等都是不利的。因此,应大力发展混交林。我们的试验初步证明怀槐则是针阔叶混交林中比较理想的伴生树种。怀槐(山槐、黄色木、高丽槐、臭槐)Maackia amurensis Rupret Maxim 是豆科的落叶乔木,高可达13米,胸径可达40厘米。羽状复叶,小叶呈椭圆状卵形,基部圆形,先端锐尖,背面无毛。复总状花序,花密白色,荚果扁平,长椭圆形,长5厘米左右。心材为深褐色,边材带黄白色,质坚硬,比重0.89。主要分布在长白山、小兴安岭、沈丹铁路沿线及旅大地区。在
Over the years, a large area of pure pine forest has been created in the sand area of the western part of the province. This is a pioneering undertaking of afforestation.
