颊脂(肪)体不仅是面侧区诸间隙感染扩散的主要途径,而且还可以向口腔脱出形成外伤性颊脂体疝;临床上“颊脂垫尖”又是下牙槽神经阻滞麻醉的重要标志之一。国内外解剖学、口腔颌面外科学及有关文献,对颊脂体,颊脂垫及颊垫的概念记述尚有不同。国内未见有关颊脂体的解剖学研究报告。因此,作者解剖了福尔马林固定的尸体头部标本50侧,对颊脂体的位置、大小、形态、连属关系进行了研究。
