The use and significance of microwave technology in military installations has far exceeded the scope of the standard radar, as measured by more than 90 speeches arranged at the 1982 Military Microwave Conference. The conference focused on systems, components and theoretical aspects throughout the entire operating band stretching from 12 Gigahertz to visible light.
