绿光激光雷达是探测大气气溶胶的有效工具。作为光源的激光器对激光雷达有决定性的影响,激光器性能的改善将显著提高激光雷达的探测能力。依据微脉冲激光雷达光源的要求,研制了一台高光束质量、高重复频率、高脉冲能量的紧凑型激光二极管(LD)端面抽运声光调Q毫焦耳级532nm绿光激光器。在2kHz的重复频率下,获得了脉冲能量为0.9mJ、脉宽为22ns的绿光输出,光束M2因子小于1.76、能量不稳定度为±2%。该激光器有助于提高微脉冲激光雷达的探测距离、探测速度和探测精度。
Green Lidar is an effective tool for detecting atmospheric aerosols. The laser as a light source has a decisive influence on the lidar, and the improvement of the laser performance will significantly improve the detection ability of the lidar. A compact laser diode (LD) face-pumped acousto-optic Q-switched 532 nm green laser with a high beam quality, high repetition rate and high pulse energy was developed according to the requirements of the micropulse laser radar. At a repetition rate of 2 kHz, a green light with a pulse energy of 0.9 mJ and a pulse width of 22 ns was obtained. The M2 factor of the beam was less than 1.76 and the energy instability was ± 2%. The laser helps to improve the detection range, detection speed and detection accuracy of micropulse LIDAR.
