吗啡的药理作用之一是抑制呼吸和咳嗽反射。一般认为这是吗啡抑制脑干中呼吸性神经元活动的结果,但一直没有直接证据。直到最近才有人报告用微电泳方法给予吗啡或脑啡呔可以阻遏猫脑干呼吸性神经元的放电活动。
One of the pharmacological effects of morphine is the inhibition of respiratory and cough reflexes. It is generally believed that this is the result of morphine inhibition of respiratory neurons in the brainstem, but there is no direct evidence. Until recently, it was reported that the administration of morphine or enkephalin by micro-electrophoresis could block the discharge activity of respiratory cells in the brainstem of cats.
