菌斑的控制问题在预防牙科学中所占的地位已越来越显得重要。从预防牙科学所涉及的内容来看,控制菌斑已成为必不可少的一部分。有关老年预防牙科学的问题,除了在运动中损伤,口腔颌面缺损和咬合不良的预防以外,几乎有关预防牙科学的各方面都能直接应用于老年人。牙科医生应当熟悉,随着年龄的增长,老年人的口腔流行病和口腔状况的改变。因此,高等牙科院校在安排课程设置时,应当把老年预防牙科学的内容考虑在内,或者可以作为一门辅助教学内容。
Plaque control issues in the prevention of dentistry has become more and more important. Control of plaque has become an integral part of the content of preventive dentistry. With regard to the prevention of dentistry in the elderly, almost all aspects of preventive dentistry can be directly applied to the elderly, except for injuries during sports, oral and maxillofacial defects and prevention of malocclusion. Dentists should be familiar with the oral epidemics and changes in oral conditions in older people as they age. Therefore, dental colleges and universities should consider the content of preventive dentistry in seniors when arranging curricula, or as an auxiliary teaching content.
