采用基于托马斯双滤膜绝对测氡原理制的40L衰变室,可移式环境氡气浓度测量装置,测量了已知氡浓度理论值的样气的浓度,从而用实验方法验证托马斯双滤膜绝对测氡方法,并测出该方法的固有误差,该装置的置信度为95%,灵敏度优于0.37Bq·m~(-3),固有误差小于1%。结果表明本装置的结构参数,测量参数的选取是合理的,实验方法的设计是可取的。该方法从理论上与实验技术方面排除了氡与其子体放射性平衡程度、结合态子体占总子体的比分以及带电子体所占的比分对测量结果的影响。托马斯双滤膜绝对测氡公式不仅对直筒型衰变室成立,对于出口滤膜直径远小于入口滤膜直径的条件下托马斯公式的适用性进行了验证。
