1985年6月中旬我们去日本参加了“科学城”国际学术讨论会。这次讨论会是由筑波博览会主办的,因此有机会参观了号称“本世纪最后一次科学盛会”和“二十一世纪序幕”的1985年日本筑波国际科学技术博览会。参加这次博览会的共有40多个国家。联合日本部、联合国大学、联合国教科文组织、联合国儿童基金会、欧洲共同体等37个著名国际组织应邀参加了博览会。博览会上有日本政府主办的主题馆、历史馆、文娱演出中心和儿童广场。自从1851年在伦敦首
In mid-June 1985 we went to Japan to participate in the “Science City” international academic seminar. The symposium was hosted by the Tsukuba Fair and it was an opportunity to visit the Tsukuba International Science and Technology Expo in 1985 known as “the last scientific event of the century” and the “prologue of the 21st century.” More than 40 countries participated in this expo. Forty-seven well-known international organizations such as the Joint Ministry of Japan, UNU, UNESCO, UNICEF, and the European Community were invited to attend the Expo. At the Expo, there is a theme hall, history hall, cultural entertainment center and children’s square hosted by the Japanese government. Since its inception in London in 1851
