This article reviews the research progress of the production efficiency of transgenic animals and the expression and purification of foreign genes in the mammary gland of transgenic animals. Discussed the cost of establishment of genetically modified animals and existing technologies, described the advantages and problems of transgene expression and product purification, and proposed the future development direction
