老车王舒马赫与新车王维特尔携手,夺取国家杯冠军,再次为德国赛车运动赢得声誉在各大汽车赛事相继收官之后,一年一度的世界王中王争霸赛(Race of Champions,简称ROC)于2012年12月14日至16日在泰国曼谷的拉加曼伽拉国家体育场举行,这也是该项赛事继2009年在北京鸟巢举行之后再度光临亚洲。已经宣告退役的车王舒马赫和F1新科世界冠军维特尔以及中国场地、拉力双料年度冠军韩寒的参赛成为了车迷们关注的焦点。
