翻译是将一种语言所要表达的意义用另一种语言传达出来,并在一定程度上实现思想情感的沟通、文化知识的传播以及社会文明的发展和翻译文化的兴旺发达等目的。正如作家在写遣词造句的时候有自己独特的风格一样,译者在翻译的过程中也有着自己独有的特点。对于翻译家的理解,谢振天教授曾经说过一段话,他认为译者在从事翻译工作时,不仅要有自己的翻译原则,还应该有独特的追求目标。许渊冲先生正是这样一位优秀的译者。许渊冲先生的译品充分的体现了他所主张的“创译说”。本文作者将就许渊冲先生关于古诗体与国外其他的译者作品的对比来说明译者翻译风格对翻译的影响。
Translation is to convey the meaning to be expressed by one language in another language and to some extent to achieve the communication of ideology and emotion, the dissemination of cultural knowledge and the development of social civilization and the prosperity of translation culture. Just as a writer has his own unique style when writing a wording, a translator also has his own unique characteristics in the process of translation. As for the translator’s understanding, Professor Xie Zhentian once said something: He believes that translators should not only have their own principles of translation but also have unique goals in pursuit of translating. Mr. Xu Yuanchong is such an excellent translator. Mr. Xu Yuanchong’s translation fully embodies what he advocates. The author will explain the influence of translator’s translation style on translation through the comparison of Mr. Xu Yuanchong’s poems with those of other foreign translators.
