1995年曾有专家著文质疑在中国修建“信息高速公路”会有多少信息供这条“公路”使用。形势的发展大大超出人们的预料。今天,不要说那些具有持久生命力的信息,就是发生在太空仅仅存在几个小时的流星雨也要上网。在活跃的科学技术领域工作的人们,离开因特网是不可想象的。过去认为是不可能、不可思议的事情由于有了因特网而变成现实并可在瞬间实现。作为社会公共安全领域的工作者,不仅要认识这个“法力无边”的怪物,还应该掌握它,让它为我们下一个世纪的公安事业服务。
In 1995, there was an article by an expert questioning how much information would be available for the “highway” in China to build the “information superhighway.” The development of the situation is far beyond people’s expectations. Today, do not say the messages that have long-lasting vitality are the meteor shower that occurs only a few hours in space. People who work in the active science and technology are unthinkable to leave the Internet. In the past that is impossible, incredible things because of the Internet and become a reality and can be realized in an instant. As a worker in the field of social public safety, we should not only recognize this “monster with boundless magic power,” we should also master it so that it will serve the public security work of our country in the next century.
