刘敦愿先生属于不务名于世的学人。尽管他是美术考古这一新兴学科的奠基人,又是山东大学考古学专业的创立者。我也是很晚才知道刘敦愿先生的大名的。那时候,我读硕士三年级,有一天去倪建林老师的得闲居聊天。倪老师说得兴起,从书架上抽出一本书推荐给我读,书名叫《美术考古与古代文明》,是刘敦愿先生的论文集。该书1994年在台湾出版,2007年由大陆的人民美术出版社重印。这本书诱发了我对考古学的兴趣。半年后,
