信息光电子产业是21世纪最有前途的阳光产业,其中微光学和飞秒技术的结合是一个重要的前沿学科发展方向,也是信息光学的一个重要前沿领域。中科院上海光机所信息光学实验室以现代信息光学为主导方向。开展战略性、基础性、前瞻性的基础研究和高技术应用与创新研究,取得了一系列重大科研成果。近日,周常河课题组首次发现高密度光栅的偏振自成像效应,该效应显示在光栅周期接近光波波长时,入射光偏振态的改变将导致不同的光栅自成像。这一效应的发现对高密度光栅的应用有着重要的参考价值,对相关开发、利用和检测等具有实际意义,并有望进一步开发纳米光学领域的新器件与新技术。8月29日,本刊编辑采访了周常河研究员的课题组,对他们的研究工作进行了全面地了解。
The information optoelectronic industry is the most promising sunshine industry in the 21st century. The combination of micro-optics and femtosecond technology is an important frontier subject and an important frontier of information optics. Information Optical Laboratory of Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences takes modern information optics as the leading direction. To carry out strategic, basic, forward-looking basic research and high-tech applications and innovation research, has made a series of major scientific research achievements. Recently, Zhou Changhe’s group first discovered the polarization self-imaging effect of high-density gratings. This effect shows that when the grating period is close to the wavelength of the light, the change of the polarization state of the incident light will lead to different grating self-imaging. The discovery of this effect has an important reference value for the application of high-density gratings, and has practical significance for related development, utilization and detection, and is expected to further develop new devices and technologies in the field of nanometer optics. On August 29, our editors interviewed the research group of Zhou Changhe and conducted a comprehensive understanding of their research work.
