The results of this study indicate that the total concentration of free amino acids in the plasma of canine arteries increases significantly after blood loss, and the amino acid profile changes significantly with time. Twenty-one of the 21 free amino acids were higher than the pre-bleeding level and reached the highest value at 3 to 4 h after blood loss, and remained higher than the pre-bleeding level at 5 h. Asparagine, glutamine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine and phenylalanine remained at their highest levels 5 hours after blood loss. The levels of arginine and serine decreased, and arginine decreased rapidly 4 to 5 hours after blood loss. Threonine and phosphoserine did not change significantly. Taurine is the most noticeable growth rate, accounting for 290% of blood loss 3 hours after blood loss. The absolute value of the increase in the concentration is the highest in alanine, and there is no significant change in the ratio of the branch to the aromatic. Arterial blood pyruvate and lactic acid peaked at 3h after blood loss, after which lactic acid remained at a high level and pyruvate began to decline. The remaining lactic acid increased most significantly at 4 to 5 h after blood loss.
