有的时候,任何想像部无法形容见到一种惨剧时的震撼;新世纪第一个春节,我们就在采访一次骇人听闻的事件中度过了一个个不平静的日子。 惨剧发生之后 农历除夕,正当千家万户忙着挂灯笼、贴春联,欢欢喜喜迎新春的时候,几名“法轮功”痴迷者在李洪志“升天圆满”妖言的蛊惑下,在天安门广场制造了一起骇人听闻的自焚事件。 记者们接到通知是1月25日。农历初二上午,被通知参与这一事件采访的新华社记者,有的刚刚结束赴广西采访春节视察活动,有的正在离北京千里之遥的故乡与家人团聚,有的再也顾不上身体不适,有的不得不抛下家中病重的孩子。记者们迅速投入采访。凭着记者的直觉,我们意识到,这将是一场不一般的采访。
